What is the Pinewood Derby?!

The Pinewood Derby is probably the most looked forward to and exciting event for scouts. The boys get to make their our race car to be put in a race during pack night! This is a great chance for boys to use there skills and imaginations and also to bond with the adult who helps them.

Are there any Pinewood Derby Workshops?!
Sure there are. Your Den leader will keep you posted on the dates for these events.

Where can I buy materials?!
Your block of wood is provided for you by your pack. You can visit the Scout store in Massapequa for materials. Beware: the rules are very strict so don't buy anything that may disqualify your car!
